Anastazea was the only healer her little cajun community knew. This was back in the days when you just couldn't find a doctor on every corner. In her small town in the deep, deep, south her contempoaries would come to her when they were ill to heal them. This was before penicillen was discovered and right around the time when doctors, as a profession, began to mold themselves into our modern day "gods". She never accepted money for her services. She was taught that, that was not the proper thing to do when sharing a gift from God. But if someone chose to bring her a chicken for the pot or some shrimp or snap beans for the table then she could accept that gladly. And so she lived her life never having a lot but never doing without either. My mother, my sisters and I were handed down some very basic and immovable truths from this truly gifted holy woman. And the adventures of Anastazea's Daughter's in dealing with the adversities of this modern world are truly adventures worth sharing. My name is Tassie. I am the oldest of Anastazea's Great Grandaughters from Elita's line. And I am creating this site as a tribute to this precious cajun healer. I will start out by sharing with you my own accomplishments, because I myself have conquered epilepsy after the doctors in my area gave up on me and refused treatment to me after trying for 25 years with very little results. And there are other accounts of Anastazea's daughters' amazing courage that I will be sharing with you in the times to come. All accounts on this site are the truth. The truth that has been handed down to me through my own mother, Lucille. And the truth as I have witnessed with my own eyes.
